About Natural Burial
Every year, more people are becoming aware of the impact their daily decisions have on the world around them. Some of the biggest decisions facing a family are borne when a loved one dies. Most commonly, the deceased’s body is embalmed with preserving fluids, and buried in an elaborate metal or hardwood casket inside a thick metal and concrete vault. This serves to "protect" the body by delaying its natural return to the Earth.
